The villagers are friendly and have tea stalls in some places to offer pahari tea at minimum costs. You can also buy pears and food from them. They also let you play with the cattle. The temperature ranges from a maximum of 20 degrees C to minimum of 2 degrees C.
The place is lush green and sunny. It is advised that carry sunscreen, sun cap and sunglasses. Rain might occur so raincoats are must. Insect repellent if you have a phobia as you will be trekking through forest area. Although it is summer still the nights can get cold so warm clothes are needed.
Although it is advised to not to go there during monsoon as grass can get slippery and one might get injured still if you decide to go it is better to be equipped smartly. Waterproof bags, good grip shoes, raincoats, waterproof gloves are smart choices.
There is snowfall in that season so warm clothes are a must. Long boots so that ice does not enter shoes is a smart choice.
